How It All Began
Our History at Foremost Trailers
The story of Foremost Trailers began with a simple goal, to raise the standard of mobile catering trailers in the UK. What started as a small interiors business has grown into a fully equipped, UK-based manufacturing company with a reputation for quality, reliability and bespoke design.
2009 – We began our journey by specialising in catering interiors, working with various trailer builders and converting imported units from the United States to meet UK regulations and client needs.
2013 – After recognising the limitations of imported builds, we started fabricating and modifying steelwork in house, gaining more control over structure, durability and design flexibility.
2016 – Demand for custom-built trailers grew, and we expanded our workshop capabilities to include full trailer fabrication, from chassis and frame to full interior fit outs.
2019 – We introduced our own CAD design service, allowing clients to visualise and refine their trailer layouts before a single cut is made. This became a key part of our bespoke design process.
2021 – Our portfolio of clients grew to include independent street food traders, national brands and event operators. We refined our approach to offer fully bespoke solutions for a wide range of catering styles and budgets.
2025 – Foremost Trailers was officially launched as a brand, bringing together years of experience under one name, with a clear mission: to build better trailers, made in the UK, designed around real-world use.
Today, every trailer we build is a product of that journey, combining craftsmanship, innovation and insight gained over more than a decade in the industry. From initial sketch to final clean down, everything is handled in house by our experienced team.
